Jon Simon, Executive Managing Director Jon Simon is an Executive Managing Director of REH Capital Partners, LLC based in Los Angeles, and maintains a second office location at the company headquarters in Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Simon's primary focus is on strategy, transactional services, and consulting services within the real estate and hospitality industries. He is widely recognized as a leader in the hospitality and resort real estate industries worldwide, in addition to his extensive experience in the commercial real estate sector. Mr. Simon joined REH Capital Partners in 2006. Prior to his association with REH Capital Partners, Mr. Simon was Chief Investment Officer of Destination Capital, a private equity firm focused on hospitality related enterprises, and previously served as CEO of WorldStar Resorts, a Starwood Capital affiliated company focused on timeshare and vacation ownership investments. Before joining WorldStar Resorts, Mr. Simon was a partner in KPMG’s Real Estate and Hospitality practice where he led the Firm’s Resort and Timeshare Industry Practice as well as had responsibility for the Real Estate and Hospitality Practice for Southeast US, Latin America and the Caribbean. Representative Experience Mr. Simon has over 25 years of diversified and extensive consulting experience pertaining to real estate, resort and timeshare projects throughout the US, Europe and the Caribbean Region. In addition, Mr. Simon has participated in, or advised on corporate and asset acquisitions, dispositions, and capital raising activities totaling in excess of $5 billion. Mr. Simon is active in numerous real estate and lodging associations and was a former Director of the American Resort Development Association. Education Mr. Simon earned a B.S. in.
