In Memoriam

We remember two of our founding members who were instrumental in the launch of REH Capital Partners and who passed way before their time.

In Fond Memory - Niki Borrelli

Niki Borrelli, a founding member of REH Capital Partners, LLC, passed away suddenly on April 15, 2013 after a lingering illness.

For many years, Niki was the confidant to the REH executive team as well as the external marketing  and communications face to the Firm's many clients, friends and business contacts.  Niki had a unique, outgoing and friendly personality and uncanny ability to really get to know all those who came in contact with her.

Prior to joining REH, Niki was employed by KPMG Consulting where she handled administration and marketing for the National Real Estate and Hospitality Practice of the firm and worked closely with and supported Frank Nardozza (REH current Chairman) in his leadership role with KPMG.

Niki leaves behind her husband, two children and two grandchildren whom she adored. She will greatly be missed by all of us.

In Fond Memory - Howard Glass

Howard Glass, a founding member of REH Capital Partners, LLC, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008 after a courageous and inspirational battle with cancer.

Howard was an experienced leader in real estate investment, finance and brokerage services with over 25 years of experience serving a broad range of private and institutional companies and clients. A respected name in the commercial real estate community, Howard had a natural ability to negotiate and closed many of the area's major deals in the 1980s and early 1990s, including the Doubletree Hotel, Mayfair In The Grove, Plaza Venetia, The Mall of the Americas, The Deerfield Beach Hilton Hotel and the Miami International Commerce Center.

Howard was formerly President of the Southeast Region of Sonnenblick– Goldman, a leading US real estate investment bank, and held executive management positions with several other leading financial services and commercial real estate companies. Howard also realized his entrepreneurial goals outside of real estate, as Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of Interactive Response Technologies (IRT), a call center with a difference. He helped to create strategic partnerships with clients and make IRT an award winning provider of outsourced CRM.  His vision and commitment to quality and fairness transcended all aspects of his business interests and life pursuits.

Howard grew up in Valley Stream, Long Island, attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (BS in Management) and the Harvard Business School (MBA 1983). He was the beloved husband of Lorraine and the loving father of Jeffrey and Danny. Howard was devoted to his family and adored his sons, playing an active part in their lives and providing exceptional guidance and love.

He also served his community as a past President of Temple Sinai of Hollywood, a member of the City of Hollywood Planning and Zoning Board, and past President of the Harvard Business Club of South Florida.

Howard was a good friend, a wonderful golfer, and a mensch, and will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of us at REH.
